What Kind of towbar?

I tried searching tow, towbar etc., maybe it's a non-issue, but I want to show up with the right towbar.
Not a thing owner here, but I have bug and bus towbars available. Have a friend with a dead trans or clutch and need to tow to a garage where we can work on it. What kind of towbars do things use?
