sanding

Post by mstatedog »

I've just spent 2 days sanding the inside of my thing and its still not ready. Anybody got any tips for sanding......sanding around spot welds, seams, brackets, under strap brackets.............etc. I would like to get this job done quicker.

I don't want to sandblast or use chemicals

Use those small copper wire wheels on a die grinder. You can buy the wheels at Home Depot for about 50 cents each. They are soft enough and won't dig into the metal, but they strip it clean on all the welds and seams.
