Yeah, I better hold off, I haven't even picked up all I've bought yet...That would be quite a road trip for sure! That's what the purpose of the new towing rig will be-car gettin' road trips....

Just quit your job, and drive around the country buying up all the 411/412's you can find, first you will need to find a SUGAR MAMA!

Here's the towing rig I wish I had...

Image :D

I think it would be cool to have a little VW bus semi!

Edit: Hey, I have an idea, why not make a bus car hauler? I could graft the front end of a bus onto a full-size van frame, put a flatbed on there, duallies out back, Porsche turbo wheels and big red calipers up front, mount whatever v-8 in the middle with a shortened driveshaft. Or, have two type IV's pushing it, one running each rear axle- one in a mid-mounted configuration, one in a rear configuration!!! That would be some crazy shizz!

That is so cute... I would buy it in a second if I had $20,000. However, I think I could probably build the shop, acquire the parts vehicles, and build it for about that much.

Yeah...the color balance on the pictures is bugging me. That appears to actually be the metallic marathon blue metallic. If so, that 411 would be identical to my very first car. Hopefully they have not cut the back panel to put in a large air cleaner for the carb. All else can be forgiven. Thats a worthwhile one. Ray

I see, so was cutting the rear seat/firewall panel standard procedure for fitting the single Weber to the sedans? That is unfortunate. My '73 has the damn single Weber, but it isn't cut up, it apparently was run with no air cleaner... :? Car looks quite nice to me, I hope somebody who appreciates these cars gets it.

Mine has the single weber also. whoever put it on there just bent the top plate and mashed the air filter down in the back.

I guess it's better that cutting though.

I love it when people just trash the fuel injection and then trying to get the car to run, trash the carb that they are putting on the car. I would go with duel 40 Kads or Webbers and junk those damn progressives, I HATE those pieces o crap.

Fortunately, I have been picking up every cheap pair of factory duals I can find. I will be putting them on in place of the progressive. Eventually I would like to get a set of small 2 barrels, but untill I do, the stock duals should be better that the single.
