Peter I love the color. Think I`ll paint mine that color too. Seriously though that looks like a 100% top notch paint job. Thanks for sharing. Bob Ingman

What is the built in scoop on the left side only for?
Looks really sharp.

Plus that is around the area where the 45 DCOE will sit to draw in fresh air for the turbo.
I hope to have the car running by mid August, have to get a few pieces custom made such as the dash(thanks to one of the owners trashing the lip, so i can't mount the 3 dash pieces.
Still trying to decide what seats are going in the car(front), redoing the rear seats.
Thanks Bob, the color was already mixed by the owners brother(love it too). We had 4 layers of base, 4 layers of clear.
Still trying to find a harness for the car, spent so much on it already, that i am broke from all the parts that we purchased for it.
Thanks Peter
Anyone with an extra harness that they are will to donate, would be much appreciated:)

Are you looking for a complete harness for the whole car, or just part of the harness where yours is messed up?
Hi, i unfortunately need the whole thing

Mine was so butchered up, it was not worth saving.
So now we need a whole harness.

Sorry, I dont have a whole harness, just bits and pieces. Did you throw away your butchered up one? Ive been saving old harnesses and taking them apart for individual wires, and to figure out the wiring schematic. Thanks.
Hi, yes i did throw it away

There was nothing to save that is how bad it was.
Thanks, i think i have one from another guy that didn't end up using the harness.
Thanks Peter

No problem. If his doesnt work out, I think SoCal lists them, and you can go to Wiring Works in San Pedro, CA. They always have an ad in Hot VWs. From memory, I think the complete harness goes for around $300 from WW.
Thanks, posted some more pics
