I ran over a skunk in my 412 today! What can I do to get rid of the smell?

There is absolutely nothing you can do. Your car is now junk. But I...the magnanimous one...will give you $50.....nay $75 to take the car off your hands and alleviate your pain.... 8) Ray

Well, I guess you'll just have to wait for it to dissipate. Maybe the stinky skunk stuff got somewhere tucked up in the undercarriage?

Maybe you should drive through a field of dasies to cancel the smell out. :lol:


From what I hear, it's pretty difficult to get that smell out. See, if you're car was on jackstands like mine, you would'nt have this problem.

Put it on a lift and sprayed the whole underside with a pressure washer, and heavy duty degreaser , VIOLA, smell is gone! Worse DAMNED smell EVER!
