The red radiator hoses really perk up the color scheme of this car's engine!

LMAO....I wasn't going to say anything about the degree wheel thing. I read that post in the middle of the night. Its a freakin pulley!
Gee...I think I'll have my ass chromed to match the nerf bars my cal look 412

!
But it is a nice lookin 412. At least he ran hoses instead of leaving them off. Some of those hoses are not cheap or easy to findin some places. Ray

Anything shiney makes an air-cooled engine more effecient.
More effecient = more power.

I've found that if I open my deck lid on my 67 Beetle, and talk to the engine before I drive, it performs much better

It also likes gifts, much like a woman. The other day I got it a St. Christopher, and it ran flawlessly that whole week.
I'm not saying that will work for everyone, but I know I got another 10 hp by doing those simple things.

This is what I do before driving my brown Van.
1- I kill a chicken
2- burn incense
3- read my horoscope
4- consult my book of Nostrodaemus Quatrains.
5- check the weather forcast
6- Call the Phsychic hotline
7- check my CV joints (I do actually do this, there is nothing worse than driving down the road and having a CV come off!

)
8- Check my oil
9- Run around the Bus 3 times saying, start start start hooooooooopy doooooooooooooooo!
10 - Get in and say the Lords Prayer.
If I do this the Van might start
