VW Winch

A winch as in a pulley device, not slang for mean woman.

As I looked in the trunk of my spare 412 this weekend, I found a very cool winch. If some one will host the picture, I'll send it for public viewing.

Also has a manual, which is written in German.

Also in the trunk was a bonanza of 412 parts, looked to be mostly for FI system. thars gold in them thar trunks.

Personnally.....I have been searching for a German wench with an operating manual....or maybe one that is manually operated.....either way...

Kinda makes you wonder just what kinda trouble the previous owner was expecting to get into.....

I bought a 412 a long time ago (my gold one). In the trunk....was an old blanket, a safety triangle, 2 gallons of cheap brake fluid...and a big box of condoms (empty)

. Made me wonder what kinda trouble THAT guy was into....Ray

I've not put it into operation as of yet, not even sure that it's complete. If I could 'sprechen der Deutche' I could read the manual, but alas, Ich kern nich Deutche sprechen. Ce la vive.
