In our market (about 300 miles away)... about the same..

IN the rust belt, people do not care about the year as much as model.

It has the swing and reduction boxs and I think a possi rear end. It has the water prooffed ignition. It is a military 181 actual has a Made in Germany sticker and a ss# starting with 182 2
which makes me htink it is a 1972 modle 182 not 181. Body is real poor filled with putty everywere and looks like It's been painted with brush. Pan is good top is intacked but junk. There is no role bar. Bumpers a straight. What would you all think It may be worth. They guy imported it in 02 and never got the paper work done to get it titled the importer got it in as a 1971.

Looks like these people had something to do with importing it:
Delmar Logistics. INC
5341 West 104 ST
Los Angeles, CA 90045

Any comments apreciates would it have to have been EPA complient to even make it in the boarder? Looks like it is still in the importers name because the owner got it transfered.

A type 182 is a RHD car. Yours is a 72. The third digit is the year. The 4th digit is always a 2 for 70's cars.

Not my car but I was looking into purchasing it from someone--I already have a 73 Thing.

Poor guy somebody popped him for cash and importing it under EPA code X, for off-road use only then he could not get it registered in Wisconsin.

Obviously he is trying to do the same to someone else but I didn't bite because I looked up the EPA application codes.

Thanks for your help.
