hypothetically, is there a point when cars our age would fail to pass a smog test or will there always be a fix? Occasionally my '74 smokes on startup, probably oil buildup, but it seems to run pretty clean. For now I am relieved that I don't have to incur that extra expense and hassle, ouch. Thanks! Steve
