I've never been a big fan of the wagon, but I sure would like to have that one! I guess most of them I see are in such poor shape that no one would really want them. But that one would make a killer GL wagon.

Oh, that is nice, and I have the parts to convert it to a 4 spd... eh, that's life I guess.

I like the 411 hood/fenders better than my 412. I wonder.....could you swap out the fender/hoods/nose from a 71' to the chassy of a 74'?
Humm, would be a lot easier/less expensive to just get a 411.

$950!

Looks like a good deal to me. Maybe I'll drive on over and pick it up.....maybe not  . 10 miles closer and I would be all over that.

Unfortunately, I believe the "nose panel" is a welded-in piece of the unibody. The 412 was't just a "bolt-ons" reskin like is possible nowadays.

Nope...they cannot be swapped. The 411 is smoother looking...but the 412 has less wind issues. Thats the reasons for the change from curves to angles. Someone should get that 411. The automatic is not that big of a deal. When they are properly adjusted.....which I have never seen one with over 50k miles that was....they are not any slower than the 4 speed.
My first 411 had 54K miles on it when I got it. It was great with the automatic once I figured out how to tune the engine so there was no power deficit. This made the relatively properly adjusted tranny it came with...run quite well. Ray
