Gary Cooksey got his VW Thing back last night. Five were on the ground getting cuffed when he called me at 11 pm. Take a look at the pics below, the top pic is of his motor in his Thing before stolen, the bottom pics are after they put it into a Baja bug. Leaving that car out in their driveway was sure a smart move. I hope they enjoy prison.

Butchers! Hope the engine hasn't suffered too much and that Gary's Thing can be put back to its previous glory. It is a lucky day when fools do their deeds in plain sight ... and get CAUGHT! Gary ... add one NOS rabid dog to your rebuild ... butchers should feel what its like to be on the receiving end of a hack job!

Just after I put together the Kymco super Thing exhaust group buy, Jeff Bancroft got ripped for a lifetime of tools and a number of "Things" --- the worst "Thing" that the evil ones took was a motor that he had 18 months of work and a lifetime of experience invested in to make a dream come true. The deal really turned sour. In the end I got my exhasut (albeit not the system that Jeff and I had planned) Marc got rubbed hard and eventually got his $$ back.. Interestingly enough the only guy who reaped benefit from the deal was a feller from Texas. This goes to prove the theory that fate has no rhyme or reason. I have a small hollow pit of sorrow for never creating the exhaust system that was meant to be/// Folks who steal the hard work of AC VW devotee earn a special place in the universal wheel of destiny. For the rest of us.. i wish the best to y'all. For this I say howdy High.. K-mann K-Panzer et all
