Wiper motor

My wiper wotor works fine as the wipers go up but when they come down it shudders and there is a clicking sound coming from the motor. What should I be looking for when I take the cover plate off later today? Thanks.

A mechanical problem such as this should be fairly obvious when you look inside. Probably a loose screw ,nut or gear. not really too much it could be since most of the component is electrical windings. bet you`ll see it right off. Bob
