Ok boys and girls...here is an oppurtunity to express an opinions on floor pans. I have found both the normal pans as well as Fiberglass from glass action. Which is the better option?
The 2nd question is who and where would be the best ones for the $$$$$?
thanks

I do not know much about glass pans other than I would not want my seats fastened to them in the event of a crash. Bob

Bob-
You make a very good and valid point...i think my decision is made.
Is it better to get 2 full size pans 1 for each side and where is the best place to purchase said pans.
Is it tough to replace them and do i need a saw and how to weld?
thanks for and all advice.

Joe my experience with pan replacement is limited to a half pan replacement to renew battery area on my Thing. I purchased a half pan from Vince(now Mike) at
www.thingsunlimited.com. The price was good. You can use anything to cut the old one away leaving a little overlap. Welding is best but a good job can be done with pop rivets and (paintable)caulk.
I advise removing your seats and doing a thorough evaluation to determine if full pans are really needed. Order accordingly. When awaiting arrival take this question to the Bodywork and Paint Forum. Since pans are pans you can get good advise from some of the bug guys that have done them before. Hope this helps. Bob
