I have an automatic transmission in my 1979 bus. I just recently rebuilt a new 2.0L motor for it and drove it approximately 75miles. then it was acting like the motor was locking up. pulled the motor out finally and the motor turns over freely. Now everyone i've talked to has told me that they've never heard of a torque converter locking up a motor like what i described. has anyone ever heard of this happening before? also i'm looking for a transmission builder in the state of texas who can rebuild the automatic transmission i live in the houston area, any help would be appreciated.
