Eccentric bushing

Are the Thing eccentric bushings (the parts used to adjust camber) 181 specific or can I use a standard bettle part to replace them. The reason I am asking is that I am looking for more adj then what the stock part offers and I know that there are eccentric bushings made for beetles that allow this.

Although you can buy a Thing eccentric bushing from Mike Basso at Things Unlimited for $8, it will not fit on a bug. The Thing ball joint has a larger shaft than a bug ball joint. Why do you need more camber adjustment? Is something bent? K-mann
