You mean what we in North America call fenders?

Yes, they call them wings over there. It sound like a good deal for NOS (if they are absolutely flawless) to me, but hey, it's your $$$. There aren't a lot of NOS Type 4 parts lying around the states, though.

Just don't ask about "positive earth", "blowlamps", "torches", "nave plates", "paraffin", "big ends", or "gudgeon pins"
Hey, it took me months of reading this forum before I stopped converting everything to British auto terminology so I could understand it

Let's see, dynamo=generator, Lucas=darkness...
NOS wings for £80, sounds like a deal to me. Shipping, though, that's the deal, I've had trouble getting any body tinware to arrive without dings, gouges, etc., so watch out for that. The panel beater that did the front end of my MGB after it got crunched a few years back spent more time on the front wing picking and filling shipping damage than anything else.

Lucas=Darkness....

.....so true! Its a good thing the nazi's didn't know that in 40 and 41...they might have been able to shut down the British war machine with a little skillful stock market investment in 38 and 39....

OK Ray got me started, so blame him
Do you know why British ale is served at room temp? Because British pub owners keep their ale in Lucas fridges!
Do you know why British Leyland never went into the PC market? They couldn't figure out how to make them leak oil!
Having said all that in jest, I just LOVE my MGB and wouldn't give it up for anything, and the same for my 412!
