i bought these nos headlights for the pick up what do you guys think to them?
i personally think they'll look nice

I love those! Somebody in the U.S. has a NOS set for sale, $375 usd!

i see that on samba , it is européan light for 411-412 375.$ it is big price if you look on samba ,you can find for 200.$

i paid 60 pounds for these, there still in the original box

for me i like more my 2 bulbs ,,i put inside quartz bulb ( spécial quartz light for 412 ) that cost me 20$ cdn each and that geeve me very clear light long range 200foots more on the hi.beam the exact name of that is (quartz light in the seal beam )

Oh yes, the good type of sealed beams actually work just fine I think. The designer in me likes the look of the '69 411 headlights, though!

Albert has the right idea. From other people here, I have heard that the light given off from those is not that good. But...since it looks like it was designed along the lines of the large quartz iodine systems that came stock in many cars in the early 70's.....its hould have been exceptional....except for possibly quality of the bulb itself. I would look at installing an H-4 type lamp. Look for the Hella optilux type bulbs. Those have an augmented spectrum...that is about 9/10's what HID is. They have won design awards. I have them in my H-4's...they are awesome. You may have to tweek a bit to get that lamp holder in...but with that huge reflector.....and say...a 100 watt bulb like I am using...its awesome.
By the way...I use the H-4's on the outer dims...with I think...the 75/100 watt bulb. I use a totally different bulb on the brights. It is a totally clear lense bulb assembly. I will drop in the Hella # tommorrow. They should still make it. But its technically listed as a farm/industrial spotlight. It has 6 very thin vertical lines in the otherwise clear glass. Its reflector appears to be nearly identical in shape to the H-4. It uses an HB-2 lamp assembly...single wattage. I use 100 watts in that also. My lights will melt the pavement. I have about 2/3 mile visibility on a flat road at night. Nice aquisition for the truck...very unique. Ray

i use that king of light from 1970 on my 411-412 , it is stock on the shelf here in canadian tire no 4000 ,,,,, that is replacement for standart light , and the watts is 85-100 ,good for very long life , excep for the stone or gravel , and you put second relay in the trunk for to support the électric load , the swith on the stearing is not make for 85-100 watts ,,

oh ray , the parts no. for quarts light is ,,,,H 50001 and H 5006 it is for the 4 light round car ( américan or européan ) and it is not icandessant (standart) he have a seal quartz light inside the sealbeam , and the price is appx 20.$ each and the hi beam geve you 200,000 candle at 85 watts and ask at your police département some contry refuse this light to mutch clear ,,, and it is very important to instal H power realy for to save your light swith and for the big , 1 light same at the photo from minty the price is appx 100.00$ cdn each( kit,,, relay , bulb an beam ) for one i geeve you ref.no. nex day

Cool! Thanks. I also had to install an extra relay for my headlights. The switch in the dash does OK for the 75/100 H-4...but as you note....it will not hold up when the brights relay goes on, so those have been split off to a second relay leg. Ray
