VW's aircooled mini SUV. Great for riding in the country, or cruising the beach.

I'm interested in the KPH speedo and ignition switch (ignition switch and steering lock; it has the wires/black plastic clip right?). My switch had the black piece (at the end of the wires) literaly disolve, and the wires no longer make a good connection to the other side of the harness.

What is your charge for these items? Also, I live in Orlando Florida, so check out the shipping charges from Greece and let me know.

Hello Bucko!

To clarify some model specs :

a) You car is a 71 model with chassis # 181xxxxxx right ?
b) it is NOT a radio car with 24v second alternator in the engine bay.
c) has the bus alike 2-spoke steering wheel
d) speedo is with silver outer ring
c) Ingintion holder assembly is one piece metal or 2 piece plastic ?

I want to double check what you have to send you the correct parts.
If you like you can email me photos at vw_wasserboxer@yahoo.gr
or I can send you from the speedo and the ignition switch.
I have a huge inventory of ex-army 181 parts as well.

I check shipping with UPS but still need you zip code.
Maybe 32801 ?

Rgds,
Jim Andritsakos

Jim,

You have mail. In case you read this first though, yes I have a 181xxxxxx chasis number, no, there's no 24V second alternator, yes it has a bus (what I call the Ralph Krampton) bus steering wheel, speedo has a silver outer ring, and the ignition holder is a one piece metal unit, not a two piece plastic style.

What was the 24V radio deal you were talking about?
