Hey, you're up late- or early? :D Yeah, I saw that type 4 in in Kentucky. Looks a little pricey for an unknown quantity, and the guy doesn't sound like he knows what he is talking about, the only 912 to have a type 4 AFAIK was the '76 912E...

Oh, and the master cylinder, I have one of those if you need a power brake master cylinder.

For an unknown that engine is pricey, I can usually get 1.7's for 25 to 50 dollars at my local VW yard, thats why I have so many af the damn things!

Yep...the engine looks a little rat infested . The tranny if it was known to run would be worth about $125-150 junkyard value....the block if it were known to turn over with all partsattached...maybe $100-150. But unknown? $175-225 max.

The powerbrake cylinder....ennnh...more trouble than its worth. Power brakes really are not necesarry on this car.

That relay board is rebuilt? Take a close look at the top view. I have less corrosion between my toes!. It's not helpful to de-solder and resolder...if you re-install the same scummy parts. It looks like some of those fuse teminals got red hot. Ray
