need a new transmission

well here is a wild story for ya, I had the manual trans out of my 412 and had it placed outside my shop door in my yard so that I could clean it up and wouldn't you know it , some slimey shopping cart dude came by and nicked it. So I have been looking for a manual trans for a 74 412 for sometime. one shop here claims to have one in their fabled secret wreckyard of dreams but they have yet to produce it. so if you guys know of any wreckers in washington or oregon that might have a trans could you let me know. in the mean time I will keep on the guys at the shop here, usually these guys have anything you can think of but they are real slack about going down to the secret yard and getting it for you.

That sucks man, I hate that kind of crap, they probably don't even know what the hell it could be used for.

I bought a NOS rear 412 panel from him and I got it just fine, it's in great shape. He seems like a really nice guy, but his English isn't the greatest, so if you have him ship to you, double check to make sure he has everything spelled correctly.

Thanks for the tips Guys I found Two trans, one in alberta and one in oregon. I think I am going for the one in aberta, even with shipping it is cheaper than what the guys here want for the trans they havn't found yet.thanks again.
