So Bill you planning on running your 412 down the track at 7000 rpm at 110 MPH? Dude if your building a motor for a daily driver, stick with stock.....

There is a alot to building a reliable engine with a stroker crank. Lots of people do it......but as Jake notes.....its all in the combo....and the combo must be correct. Also.....counterweighting is unnecessary on most type 4's. There are an awful lot of unreliable stroker cranks out there. Ray

Doesnt sound bad having a sleeper, lol! But really I was just wondering what counter weighting is and how the difference in the crank from stock changed things? Is it the position to the center that relates to the measurement of stroke? Isnt the stroke the lenght of the travel of the rod and piston? How do you change that without having to have longer cylinder walls? I'm no engine expert!! You cant just change the crank and bolt on the stock rods and away you go,lol!! I cant say I wouldnt like to have another project car sedan with a Jake twin turbo hipo sleeper project motor and bullet proof tranny!! Insert Tim "The toolman Taylor" Sounds!!!
