Rabbit Pick up Truck Convertible?

Post by ha123ppy »

One day, while on my motorcycle, I was next to a Rabbit Pick up Truck Convertible. I asked the driver if it was a VW factory design. He said yes.
Did VW make and market a Convertible Pick up Truck?

If they did, I've never heard of it. Perhaps it was purchased that way because the dealer had it custom-built, but I doubt that it's "factory".

I'm going along with Marc on this one. I seriously doubt that they made a Rabbit pickup cabriolet of any sort. It sounds like a custom job, something that could be interesting if done properly.
