Brake Problem

VW's aircooled mini SUV. Great for riding in the country, or cruising the beach.

Brake Problem

Brake pedal almost to floor.. new brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, brakes adjusted, brakes bled, new brake hose(rubber).

everything been on car for about 6 months and just now adjusting and bleding(car been in paint, and mech shop).

do i need to bled some more?? how much should wheel roll after adjusting brakes?, what am i forgetting..

do you have a good german master cylinder or a cheap unit? I had lots of trouble with a new cheap master cylinder, trying to bleed it. I exchanged it for another cheap unit and had the same trouble. Then I bought a good German cylinder....no more problems.

I usually adjust my brake shoes until I get about 1/2 a turn when I try to spin the wheel.
