If anyone has any ideas how to increase traffic to this Thing site, feel free to chime in with ideas. I am clueless why we had such a sudden traffic drop off... K-mann

I will be sitting in section 118 row C at the Sky Socks Stadium in Colorado Springs today Sunday September 4, 2005 The game starts at 1:05

Any shop talk forum Thing list contributor who posts here and then shows up at the game.. will (as Rick suggests) receive a free 24 ounce Breckinridge Ale. That is a local micro brew that is pretty good. And to sweeten the pot, every free beer comes with a free, original, VW Thing interior light bulb... Talk about incentives!! K-mann

I've been too busy 1) driving my Thing and 2) working on my Thing to spare much time for STF.

great point... Yesterday in Woodland Park just 18 miles from my home was the Cruise above the Clouds for classic cars. Instead of attending this show I worked on my Thing and drove my Thing. I replaced the headlight switch. Installed Sylvania Silver Star halogen headlights. We waxed her up and down. Began plans to install the new soft top. Removed the rotted out warm air difussers, repaired speedo wiring. Later in the day after work was at a stop pont we went out in the Rocky Mountain sunshine and enjoyed blasting through our hills with top down and the windows off. My daughter was able to take her side down adn later back up without help for the first time. Now that is a Thing cruising family.
