Hey Type 4 experts:

I have a 411 speedo in great shape I would like to put into a Beetle. I realize the speedo cable connect at the back is different than a type 1, so would a 411/412 speedo cable mate to the Type 1 front wheel hub and enable me to do this?

Yup...no problem. The wheel cap with the square hole is the same as type one. In fact...I use type 3 speedo cables with modified metal type one screw collars for my type 4....since the standard type 4 cables are pretty much unobtanium. Ray
