I feel I got a steal on a 412 on e-bay(I think). Where can I get a detailed workshop manual, or more appropriately an Idiot's book on repair and maintainence :P

Hi! Are you the one who bought that blue one in Nebraska? Are you flying there and driving back to Florida? I have two 412s and one 411, all of which I bought on-line and took the train to get them and drive home.

Try your local public library for starters...the Mitchell foreign car manuals (if your library's old enough to go back to the 70's with its collection) are OK. The AT manual for the T4 is pretty good. Get a Brown Bentley Type 3 manual for the AT (unless you've got a manual trans), and the Haynes 411/412 book for the rest. Go online (Jens' type4.org site) and find the Eberspaecher manual for that bit of the car. That should be good for starters. The Haynes manual shows up on the ebaything from time to time.

Hey, great deal that someone who cares picked up that car. You'll love it, that's what everyone says.

I wish I had enough $$$ for that wagon, I have two 13 year olds who'll need a ride in 3-4 years. A T4 wagon would be great for them.

I wish I had a T4 as my first car, I had an English Ford Anglia, 1967 model...battling with Lord Lucas, Sir Nobrakes Girling, and Earle S. McPherson's first attempt at a suspension. Argh!
