There has been more than a fair amount written about lowering in this forum. I would do a search. Its dirt simple to lower. Is very, very hard tro make it drivable.....safe...and not destroy other parts.
The A-4 units are way different. Using Audi 4000 parts.....thats a different story. Thats how I did mine....but that is cartridges only...and there is some fabrication work.

Its probably not too far of a stretch to use Audi A-4 cartridges...with some fabbing...but the strut housings themselves will not work. They falt out will not fit under the fernder correctly. Also...the mounts will not work. I also find it hard to believe that Audi A-4 springs would be servicable without destroying ball joints and centerlinks.

On the last thought....its not hard to lower this vehicle. Just hard to get the valving and handling correct. Its delicate. Ray
