Anyone know where to pick up a new, or refurbished torque convertor online for the 71 411?

Type 4 torque convertors are readily available from rebuilders as they interchange with T 4 powered busses. The original Type 4 convertor will have a small "D" stamped on one of the three mounting lugs. Several other stall speeds were used in busses, the highest being the "Z" out of an air cooled Vanagon. The "Z" has a stall speed about 1000 rpms higher than the "D" and will give you a lot more go from a stop.
