will an AC from a 73 412 fit a 72 411?? are they the same?

anyone know if i can put an AC from a 73 412 in my 72 411???
Yes, they are the same. The underdash part and all of the piping, compressor, brackets and pulley are the same.
The front end condensor is generally the same. There are two models of this. There is the under the front bumper, black ABS console with the vertical slots (looks similar to the grill behind the muffler in the rear).
It has two fans in it. It is teh better to have...but also hardest to find intact. The other is the one that goes under the spare tire in the trunk. It works well...but require you to butcher the sheet metal to install it. Ray
