need a tow hitch for my 72 411 wagon...

Well, I think you just missed one that was for sale on thesamba.com just recently, it is no longerlisted. On ebay, there is or was a place parting out a 412 wagon, and they were showing a rear bumper that looked like it had hitch sticking out. I don't know how it was attached, but it might be worth a search. You wanted something so you could tow with, not a tow bar to tow the car with, right?
