Special delivery from Kris today:
* 1973 412 Wagen
* Original owner from Auburn, Ca (Gold Country)
* 131k miles, all original (only missing a/c compressor, I think...)
* Parked 7 years ago in running condition
* Solid body, cracked dash, good headliner, good glass, auto trans, 1.7 with FI
* $250 delivered -- thanks Kris - Ho, Ho, Ho

Plan is to restore for daily driver:
* Rebuild suspension, steering, brakes, trans, fuel system, heater, a/c
* 2056 T4 with FI
* 15" Fuchs, dechromed body, color matched bumpers, tinted windows, etc. for German Look styling

I look forward to seeing the progress on this car and how it comes out. A custom Type 4 is a fresh new look, and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only nut-case that thinks so. :-)

Cool, I'm glad that it went to a good home. German Look is definitely the way to go for a custom 412, in my opinion. Oh, and you came to the right place learn, for sure! What I've learned from Ray and the rest of the gang the last couple of years here has been absolutely invaluable.
