Alaska Blue Metallic 412 at 2010 Bug-In

Post by tuna »

Hey all, I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of a the only Type 4 I saw at the May 2, 2010 Bug In in Fontana, CA. I was attending the show with my co-worker and friend in her '64 Type 3 KG. Right behind us was this nice 412. I walked over with my camera, snapped a couple of pictures, and struck up a conversation with the owners. The couple was very nice and shared with me the details of their 412. Apparently they bought it pretty much as is. It runs pretty well, though they did remove the EFI because they couldn't figure out how to diagnose/repair it. -- Tuna

Wow. Nice condition. Sunroof? Garage kept for sure. Door trim looks custom with black strip. Too bad the engine bay got "hacked" but at least its still on the road. Thanks for sharing Tom.
