How do you Torque a Big Nutz Tranny?

Post by david58 »

Does anyone make a torque miser for a big nutz?
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

I've never seen a Torque Meister for 46mm, but it wouldn't be all that hard to make an adapter by chopping down a 46mm (1-13/16") socket and welding an old bug axle nut to it. You might need to make a spacer to go against the drum and use longer bolts in order to keep the gears of the tool in mesh with the added length of the adapter.

Thanks Marc I will see what I can come up with. Do you or anyone else know the correct torque for the 46 mm nutz?

I rely on a more old fashion method, poor diet of junk food and apathy towards exercise. That with a full size jack handle and only 3/4 drive (ratchet or breaker bar) is all that is required for normal maintenance.

A helping hand and a slug wrench is useful for loosen uncooperative core stuff.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
