Quarter window dilemma
The car had been painted and he offered to put in the windshield and rear glass so I wouldn't screw up his paint job trying to do it myself. Then he said he can't put in the quarters because it's the Pop-out style. The catalogs don't show a seal, just a $400 kit!!! I think all I need is a new window seal. Why is it so expensive?

Re: Quarter window dilemma
The $400 kit is an all new set of pop-out windows, doesn't look like you need that.
You can buy the seals from cip1, wolfsbergwest, to name only a couple places.
You might be looking in the wrong section of the websites.
I think most of the time I have found the seal in the window rubber section. Read the descriptions, it should state its for pop-outs.
Last I looked the seals were around $15-20.
