Here's at last is some detail and a pic of my 2.5 Wasserboxer bug being readied for fire up, its a de tuned rallycross turbo motor i built in the last centuries mid '80's, its on carbs for now to shake it and the rest of the car down before competing in a well known saloon car championship over here, before its injection system etc goes back on. the OKRASA kit consists of 82x98 c/w crank and forged mahle p/ls, very light pistons, a beautiful 44x 37.5 valve/seat set, h/d cyl head bolt set, strangely, h/d wrist pins also, plus all the hardware and seals required to assemble it. it has a 10.5 c/r and web 86c camshaft, it has been built for circuit racing, where torque and mid range is king, so the whole build and camshaft choice should pay off in this respect. cooling is all electronic controlled and uses two Honda bike rads for l & r heads over the trans, then off up to the main rad in the front, so its over cooled in view of ongoing up grades, it also uses a dry sump system in view of cornering forces and more cooling. power will develop to over 200 plus fw h.p, and the car weighs only 750kg wet, for a very good p/weight ratio. I'll post up a proper build and performance thread eventually when it looks a bit more finished and out of the cramped w/s corner i have to work in,... are these things are ever finished?
