Hey,
sorry for my bad english....
I have a 1971 Porsche 914, i have some issues with the electric system.
I think there is something regarding the ground.
When i put the car i revers(activating the reverslights) og break(activating the breaklights) the tachometer, oilpressur og fuelgauge dies.
Some idea what i could be?

Re: Electrical issue Porsche 914
Welcome to the STF!
Strangely, I vaguely recall having a similar issue many years ago...
Fuse does not blow, right?
There is a common multi terminal ground under the dash just behind the fusebox check that for fallen off or loose connectors.
If nothing there, could be the backup switch or wiring on transmisssion related.
(I have 74s, yours may differ some)

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Full set, most in color.

If you have had "water in the trunk" issues it could also be related to the grounds to the rear lamps.
