I just purchased a 71 GHIA and they are completely new to me..There is some sort of vacuum modulator or at least it looks like one on the fire wall just left of the engine.
Does anyone know what this is for??
..there is also a cable coming from the center of the firewall. Is this part of it.. Something tells me these are emission controls..

on my ghia the throttle positioner was connected to a vacuum unit on the left side of the fan housing,then to the inlet manifold
