pressure sensor (map)
does anyone know where to get a new or remanufactured one for a 1971 fastback. part #311 906 051c

You'll get further with a complete part number, there are nine digits.
There are three basic pressure sensors, the system was revised every couple of years.
For a `71, you need 311 906 051 C. IIRC the Bosch number is 0 280 100 007.
Oddly, a Google search of that Bosch number came up with a hit at Summit Racing - if it's an N.O.S. one that's a heckuva deal:

Longbeach412 had an unknown-used one for sale cheap, you might PM him and see if he's still got it.
