CHT sensors

Post by foreverska »

I like the idea of the washer type you put under #3 but I'm trying to not spend a fortune on one. Has anyone tried the cheap Chinese ones on ebay? I know you get what you pay for but how much could they screw up really?

The worst would be that it gives you incorrect readings which lead you to make a bad decisions. It could cost you your heads.

I spent major effort chasing home made CHTs with high readings. I finally bought quality factory crimped units and no problems since. GIGO. garbage in garbage out.

Mario dub shop sells the sensor connection probes for a fine price and he ships in 1 day.

High as in inconsistent? or consistently high? Consistently high can be accounted for especially in my case.

Yea I knew about mario's shop. He owes me a cam sensor... lol. I've looked through mario's shop and I can't find where he sells just the sensor. I'm sure if I emailed him I might be able to get him to part with one but the sensor connection has them for a touch cheaper.

I highly doubt that the sensor connection has the Awesome customer support that Mario does!
Usually when I buy something based strictly on price I get exactly what I paid for(cheap=cheap).

Go with quality first. Don't pay more for something cheap, only to find out you should have bought the better choice.
