heater blower installl
I am putting a heater blower in my 79 westy... I cut the harness off the donor bus and am splicing it in... I can match up everything exceopt in my new harness there is a white w/green dash wire that I don't know where it goes.... It was running off the coil pack into the harness on the donor. My bus has a carb and I see the same wire run from the coil to the carb.....Does anyone think this wire was just piggy backed in the harness to the fuel injection and has nothing to do with the heater blower?? Any help would be appreciated... On a side note does anyone think that the heat exchangers get too hot for metal flexi duct? Thanks a lot. John

where do you want to put the metal flexi-ducts? Are you missing the 6 inch sheet metal pipes between the exchanger and the flow control box?

I have the sheet metal pipes but its gonna take me some time to pull them off of the donor bus. I was gonna use the flexiduct to run between the exchanger and the y to the main pipe, essentially cutting out the control box, sheet metal pipe, and rubber flexipipe to the y. I was going to use this as a temporary fix but wondered why it couldn't be like this permenantely and just disconnedted in the summer? thanx
