Thanx Nate....Its sold to a close friend of mine for $5K....A funny thing is, a week after it was done...I was offered $8k on the spot...but didnt want to or need to sell it...and I understand about custom stuff....thats why I didnt get crazy with it...too hard to sell a nice custom job....been thru that before Image Im only 26 and I dont plan on keeping every vehicle I get.

The reason I sold it is because my job is relocating me to San Fran and its just a toy...I also have to lug around my 97 Concorde and 86 GTI to....amongst other toys I have...and its my 4th older VW and I plan on purchasing another (probly a SB so I can try out one of those type4s ) Just need to get settled into a place with a garage so I can work....see my delimas?

Anyways....thanx for the input, usually things work out for the best...so i will soon be sporting another old VW...this time a fast one!

peace

Well , this sucks - again someone is going to take a bath on a nice old truck - i try to warn folks against putting $$ into a $3,000.00 truck for exactly this reason - here is a nice truck that nobody wants - sin't there some one in Europe reading this who wants a nice un rusted DESERT truck ? .

I feel for you buddy - keep waiting , eventually a smart person should snap up your lovely truck .

Un rusted , un dented trucks don't grow on trees , not even in Sunny So.Cal. !.

I agree that this is a great looking bus.

But most perfect stock restorations are going for about $5-6K.

Most custom jobs will only be valuable to the creator or a specificly interested buyer. I have to question why the seller is interested in selling it after it is almost done?

I wish the seller good luck, but do not think it will sell for $7500.
