remove head studs

Trying to remove head studs. Soaked the case in release oil, heated the case up to 240c about 460F squirting in more high temp release oil and still had four of the studs snap off

I screw a nut down flush with stud so I don't screw up the threads, smack/ tap it with a hammer , that should help loosen them , Madmike

Thank Madmike. I did try that as well. I’m now in the proses of drilling the four studs out found although the studs have tensile strength they are quite soft and easy to drill out
