The same voltage regulator may be used for Alternators AL75 and AL108.
Beetles started using alternators (with exterior regulators) in 1974 (I think). Buses started using alternators in 1972 (also with external regulators), but were different style than the Beetle's.
You need to be more specific as far as what year T1 it came out of. Better yet, what alternator it was used on. Even better, the part number on the voltage regulator. Next, tell us which alternator you would like to use it with. Let's hear from ya!
