It's probably aluminum. Might be able to get someone with a tig to just weld it back up for you. Should last forever. I'd definitely try jb weld first though.

So double batch JB welded that thing back on. Just test fired the car it ran ok. Idle might need adjusting. Hopefully not though.

Oh crap. I hadn't thought of having to adjust the idle.

So idle is great right at 900. So thankfully it will hold for a while.

Need some thoughts from the group though. After running logs. Any long pull in third weather auto tuning or not I seem to hit either my AFR safety. But I’m not sure why!?! my duty cycle is only 45% and that was at 18 psi on a second gear pull.

1st and 2nd are without issue up to redline.

Intake was hot at 170.

I did a 0-60 run yesterday to log the run. I’ll look at posting the log up in a bit

Is this not a good thing that you hit your AFR safely ?

Im totally fine with hitting my AFR safety, I guess my confusion is in that it is not hitting it in 1st or 2nd?

Maybe not much load in 1&2?
Sorry I won't be much help though. I don't even know what an AFR safety is!

Its similar to the boost cut but the AFR version. It works on a change ratio so if your mapped at 12.1-1 fuel at 10psi and your AFR changes greater then XX% ( user defined) it steps in and calms things down so you don't break things.

makes me want to buy a fuel pressure sensor and see if my pump is just not maintaining what I need? I am pretty sure it is a load vs time thing. Ill try fourth tomorrow as well. The problem with loading third or fourth is that once I'm "loading" the engine I am breaking all the speed limits around me. I may look at some dyne time as there is one a block away.

Dyno would be great! I have the same trouble. I'm either breaking the speed limit or coming up hard on traffic.

I know, though it also don’t want to waste my time not knowing that I’m missing something stupid. Also would like to get my WI and intercooler together and working so that i can take advantage and not wish i could / need to do it again.

Agreed. I'm going to get on a dyno as well, but I want to know I'm close. I don't know how it is in your area, but it's pretty expensive here. So I don't want to be wasting time doing simple tuning stuff that could have been done already on the street.

Got my fuel issue sorted. Changed my tune, boost referenced my fuel pressure regulator and adjusted my AFR safety.

No issues this morning did a 0-60 run pulled a 9 sec time. Was slow on my 1-2 shift and there was no launch at all. I have left traffic lights harder just to make a light.

Looking to patch up some body work and back seat removal items that I have been looking to get sorted. Also need to change my oil this weekend.

How are you gauging your time for the 0-60?

I have a speedhut GPS speedo/tach combo I had laying around from another project. Measures 0-60 and does 1/4 mile. I am afraid to run a 1/4 mile as I’ll certainly be breaking speed limits.
