I am looking for someone with experience with IRS Super Diffs for a street car. Last winter me and a friend had the "pleasure" of fitting a TBR diff from a well known UK manufacturer. I was so bad I had to send it back and got the message that it was OK...... Well 1,5mm backlash is ok.....
I am familiar with the fact that swingaxle Super Diffs needs additional oil holes drilled for street use.
But do the IRS Super Diff needs any modifications to work for long haul street use??

Re: IRS Super diff
Modern IRS super diffs don't need any mods.
One thing I don't like about the T1 diff covers is I feel like they flex a bit. The short side gear clearance changes a little with the side cover going on.
