A little history on the engine...
Started with a 2.1L case and did LOTS of modifications at Rocky's...
Machined off water jackets, relocated head studs .050" from center, added 4 more head studs, bored for oversized cylinders (102.4mm)...
We line bored the center main to utilize a Ford bearing (2.75" journal size)...
You can also see in this pic that the lifter bores are bushed to accept type 1 lifters...
Ford main bearing on left, stock wasser boxer bearing on right...
DPR modified a 2.1L crankshaft. 77.5mm stroke, counter weighted, five bolt, five doweled and wedge mated. Center main enlarged to Ford 2.75", gear bearing enlarged to type 4 size (Flywheel end is already type 4 size.). Rod journals ground to 2.100" Chevy...
As compared to a stock type 1 1600cc crankshaft...
10mm head studs are made from Kryptonite! (As are the thru bolts.)

Carrillo rods are 5.7" long, 3/8" bolts, and custom ordered extra beefy for high powered application. Engine also has custom CP pistons with extra thick wrist pins and thick wall skirts...
Next to the oil pump cover is an adapter to accept a GM LS crank sensor, but is used as a camshaft position sensor. Oil sump is a modified Autocraft bolt on sump and oil capacity is now 8.5 quarts! On the 1-2 side of the sump is an oil heater.
Heads are earlier version Autocraft 910. 51mm Titanium intakes and 44.45mm Titanium exhaust. Rocker studs are for Pauter 1.6 rockers...
There many, many more details on this one off build! As you can see by the dates on the pictures, this engine has been together for almost 5 years now! I've only split the case one time since then (to do a cam change) and all of the bearings looked fantastic! I'll tear it completely down again sometime this year, but oil filter inspection and oil pressure does not dictate any concerns.
