1970 Case

Hi Everyone,

I picked up 2 used cases today.
1965 1200cc case
1970 1600cc single case with a set of dual heads.

I currently have a 1965 VW beetle with a 1200cc case. The Rod broke and took a small chunk out of the sleeve where the cylinder fits in. That is besides the point.

I was given two cases from a person here. They look like there in decent shape.

I was thinking of using the 1200cc case and just transfering some parts of mine over to it.

What can I do with the 1970 case? What would be recommended to put in? The crank is rusted it comes with no pistons, no cylinders, no flywheel, no clutch plate, etc. Its just the case. Bare bones.

sell the late model case or keep it for a later build. this is the perfect opertunity for you to learn how to rebuild a 1200cc. take your old 40hp apart, see whats good, what not, and then decide what you want to do.
