Lambda delay info

Post by terryly »

Just wanted to share this method of of determining Lamda delay I found over at
Megasquirt Support Forum (MSEXTRA) In this thread
www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=73954
I enabled table switching for AFR's, and made 1 table be ~2 AFR points richer, and set it to switch based on one of the digital inputs on my board. Mounted a switch between that and ground, and during driving across all RPM's and loads, would briefly flick the switch which would result in a spike in pulsewidth (PW). This spike would show up a little bit later on the AFR, depending on RPM/MAP. Pretty accurate method, got a beautiful fit;
This should make it easier to log and find when the AFR event started and the time to when it is reported to the ecu from the wide band. the poster is setting up a larger delay table than the 3x3 table in auto tune
