Hi guys wheres the best place to mount my boost controller?
Tell me if I'm wrong but it's only used on the initial setup of the turbo, probably when on the rolling road when tuned so could be mounted in the back near the engine, or do I need it in the cabin to twiddle with whilst driving??
If it's a manual boost controller you can run hoses into the cabin to adjust on the go. Way back when I had a MBC I had it right by the turbo and I just grabbed my wrench and adjusted it whenever I needed to.
Mine was a home made setup and I only adjusted it a little bit as I wanted more and more boost. With a carb every time you add more boost you have to tune for it so be careful.

I've never turned one down...........once it's up it stays up.

Cheers for you replys!
It's a FI setup with ECU so I'm guessing once it's tuned it won't need messing with? So In that case I could just leave it by the engine.
Clonebug - your right why would you ever turn the boost down lol
I'll have a look, this is my first time with an ECU.
the wiring isn't a problem as at the end of the day there just various sensors with a couple of wires, it was the local rolling road place I use that recommend the Omex they said the after sales help is fantastic, I've got to contact them and they will send me a basic map for my engine (2110) to get me started.
