Greeting folks
Wasn't sure where to put this so I chose this subforum.
Does anyone know of a source for weld on racing style pedal pads? I've looked all over the net but can only find complete pedal assemblies. I'm not opposed to changing the pedals, but I have wide feet and really need my pedals spaced out, which I've done with the "big boy" clutch pedal spacer kit. The shop Fuzios(I think that's how you spell it) down in Mexico has a nice set up that's not expensive, but, again, the pedals are spaced too close together for me. However, those are exactly the style pedal pad I'm after...kinda bowed out and elongated.
Thanks

Re: pedal pads
Why not use some bolt on pads such as these attached to your existing pedals?

In looking further, I found these from iMohr - https://imohr.com.br/en/products/41/vw- ... s-assembly

Re: pedal pads
That's exactly what I mean with regard to pedal shape. If I could just get pads like that, that would be ideal. The guy who made the "big boy" kit really had a genius idea for the throttle attachment, using a bolt to replace the hook (yet completely compatible with the factory throttle cable). I wrote to the Fuzio shop I mentioned and asked if their pedal assembly would work with the pivot shaft/throttle cable attachment using pics, and he said no. This Imohr pedal assembly looks nearly identical to the Fuzio unit, and again, too close together for my feet.
Certainly, I could buy this pedal assembly, cut off the pads and weld them to my pedal assembly, but that is more than I want to spend. I'd have no issue using the bolt on units depicted above...if they were shaped like the Imohr/Fuzio pads.
Thanks for trying though.

Re: pedal pads
So, after typing my reply above, I looked on GermanLook.net, just because I hadn't been on there in quite a while. Dave (Owdlvr) had a thread in which he happened to have purchased and installed the very Imohr assembly pictured above. Based upon his description, and additional pics, I think you may be on to something, afterall. The Imohr assembly, apparently, is designed to reuse the pivot shaft from the factory pedal assembly. Since the pivot shaft in my 'Big Boy" pedal mod kit is designed to replace the factory part, in theory, my longer pivot shaft SHOULD be compatible with this Imohr assembly...with mods.
Thanks again for the input

If you want to modify your existing pedals, you might consider SendCutSend. You can draw them out how you want on their site and have them cut and sent to you.
